About the program:

Accounting is very important in business. The accountant plays the role of the producer of accounting information, which often represents the basis for the administrative decision in the organization and the basis for investment decisions of external stakeholders regarding the extent to which they employ the financial resources in the organization. Therefore, preparing qualified accountants in the numbers required in the labor market is a contribution to providing factors that enhance the competitiveness of the national economy and a response to the needs of organizations for qualified national cadres. F. The accounting program seriously contributes to achieving development programs by providing graduates familiar with the basic knowledge in the field of accounting that It qualifies him to enter the labor market and provide the graduate with applied skills related to preparing and analyzing accounting information using modern technologies to facilitate the decision-making process, and to develop the analytical, critical and intellectual knowledge and skills of the students of the program. - Developing and enhancing the positive and professional behaviors of those enrolled in the program, developing the knowledge and research skills of the students of the program to enable them to prepare research in accounting and related fields.

Program message:

Providing distinguished educational services that contribute to the preparation of qualified and distinguished graduates in the field of accounting and auditing, in a way that meets the requirements of the local and regional labor market.

First: A. Knowledge and Understanding:

After successful completion of the program, the graduate will be able to:

1. Shows knowledge and understanding of basic foundations, theories and principles related to accounting fields, and general knowledge.

2. Shows knowledge and understanding of scientific, technical and administrative foundations, theories and principles related to accounting science.

3. Shows the different accounting methods, procedures and practices in various establishments in accordance with generally accepted principles and standards.

4. Explains the procedures for implementing the internal and external audits in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.

Second: the field of mental skills (B. Cognitive/ Intellectual Skills):

After successful completion of the program, the graduate will be able to:

1. Determine the accounting methods, methods and systems appropriate to the nature of the establishments' activity.

2. Analyzes financial transactions and events for various establishments.

3. Analyzes and interprets information to help make decisions.

4. Diagnose accounting and financial issues and problems and propose appropriate solutions to address them.

Third: Practical and Professional Skills:

After successful completion of the program, the graduate will be able to:

1. Handles the financial operations of various establishments in accordance with generally accepted standards.

2. Prepares accounting, financial and administrative reports.

3. Execute audit procedures in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.

4. Practicing research and critical thinking skills to solve accounting and financial problems.

Fourth: General and Transferable Skills:

After successful completion of the program, the graduate will be able to:

1. Communicate effectively with others.

2. Works effectively within work teams and takes leadership roles.

3. Uses modern technology in the field of various accounting systems and functions.

4. Adhere to the regulations, laws, rules and ethics of the profession.
