The Center seeks to contribute to achieving the university’s vision, mission and strategic objectives, and to raise its level of performance and works in particular to achieve the Centre’s objectives.
Center tasks:
Preparing a quality and development plan in cooperation with the relevant authorities at the university.
Preparing the necessary systems, regulations, guides and forms to improve the level of performance and ensure its quality.
Coordination between the colleges and departments of the university, and the administrative and financial units at the university to facilitate the work related to the center and ensure the provision of its requirements.
Monitoring the level of implementation of quality plans in colleges, departments, and administrative units.
Organizing training courses, events and activities necessary to spread the culture of quality among university employees and build their capabilities in this field.
Conduct a periodic evaluation of the level of performance of the academic and administrative units at the university and submit a report thereon to the university president.
Leading, coordinating and implementing self-evaluation studies for all administrative and academic units of the university, its colleges and programs, and providing recommendations regarding them.
Providing support and technical advice to the university’s academic and administrative units regarding quality and accreditation activities and tasks.
Documenting the various efforts undertaken in the field of quality and accreditation, maintaining organized sets of reports on the administrative and academic performance of all units at the university, including data on performance indicators and benchmarks that show trends in observed performance and change in the university’s internal environment.
Following up on developments in the field of quality and development through the Academic Accreditation Council , the Ministry of Higher Education, and regionally and internationally accredited bodies.
Establishing a mechanism to evaluate the level of satisfaction of beneficiaries )internal and external).
Supervising and participating in the development of plans, programs and curricula in accordance with quality requirements and academic accreditation .
Assisting the university’s colleges and administrative units in establishing their internal systems to ensure quality, or to obtain academic accreditation.
Opening channels of communication with institutions concerned with quality and accreditation locally and abroad and signining cooperation agreements with them to exchange experiences in this field.
Submitting periodic reports to the university president on the level of implementation of quality standards and academic accreditation .
Submitting an annual report to the university president on the center’s activity and its obstacles, proposing the necessary recommendations.
