The center seeks to contribute to the realization of the university's vision, mission and strategic objectives, and to raise the level of its performance and works in particular to achieve the goals of the center.
Center tasks:
Preparing the quality and development plan in cooperation with the concerned authorities at the university.
Preparing the systems, regulations, manuals and forms necessary to improve the level of performance and ensure its quality.
Coordination between the university's faculties and departments, and the administrative and financial units at the university to facilitate the work related to the center and to ensure that its requirements are met.
Follow up the level of implementation of quality plans in faculties, departments and administrative units
Organizing training courses, events and activities necessary to spread the culture of quality among university employees and build their capabilities in this field.
Conducting a periodic evaluation of the performance level of the academic and administrative units at the university and submitting a report thereon to the president of the university.
Leading, coordinating and implementing self-evaluation studies for all administrative and academic units at the university, its faculties and programs, and making recommendations thereon.
Providing support and technical advice to the university's academic and administrative units regarding quality and accreditation activities and tasks.
Documenting the various efforts made in the field of quality and accreditation, maintaining organized sets of reports on the administrative and academic performance of all units at the university, including data on performance indicators and reference marks that show the observed performance trends and change in the internal environment of the university.
Follow-up on developments in the field of quality and development through the Council for Academic Accreditation, the Ministry of Higher Education and accredited bodies regionally and internationally.
Establishing a mechanism to assess the level of satisfaction of the beneficiaries (internal and external).
Supervising and participating in the development of plans, programs and courses in accordance with the requirements of quality and academic accreditation.
Assisting university faculties and administrative units in establishing their internal systems to ensure quality, or to obtain academic accreditation.
Opening channels of communication with institutions concerned with quality and accreditation locally and abroad and concluding cooperation agreements with them to exchange experiences in this field.
Submit periodic reports to the university president on the level of implementation of quality standards and academic accreditation.
Submit an annual report to the president of the university on the center's activity and its obstacles, along with proposing the necessary recommendations.
