The Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences is one of the faculties of the Emirates International University. It was established in 2014 under ministerial license no. 416 for 2014. It started receiving students to join a number of academic programs as follows:
International Business Administration,
Business Administration,
Management Information Systems,
Accounting,
Banking and Financial Sciences,
Hospitality and Tourism (under construction),
Real Estate Development (under construction).
The academic programs and curriculum are modern and state-of-the-art. They have been developed in accordance with international and national educational standards and practices.
The Faculty aims to qualify its students, through educational and administrative programs, to be scientifically distinguished, skilled and well-trained cadres, who are committed to professional ethics and capable of effectively competing with others and meeting the needs of the community locally and internationally.
The Faculty, in order to achieve its goals, has launched its 2020-2025 strategy. It strives for the excellence of the performance, keeping abreast of all latest developments. It further strives to provide its students with a stimulating environment to be professionally able to compete and meet the needs of the labor market. Therefore, it has taken into account the importance of developing academic programs that meet the needs of the present time and keep pace with the rapid progress in financial and administrative sciences.
Furthermore, the Faculty follows the strategy of the learning outcomes-based curriculums that encompass knowledge and understanding, intellectual skills, practical skills, general and professional skills. Such skills are linked to each other.
In fact, having a complete mastery of basic and administrative sciences enables students to analyze and solve administrative and accounting problems, to solve digital problems and to come up with solutions based on evidence.
Intellectual skills include the skills of analysis, evaluation and innovation. Such skills are the highest levels of knowledge in all academic courses.
