Program message:
The mission of the Oil and Gas Engineering program is to provide engineers at the undergraduate level with high-quality education, conduct research and provide services in the oil and gas industry and its related sectors worldwide, and make productive contributions for sustainable development.
The general objectives of the program are as follows:
Equipping future engineers with appropriate theoretical knowledge and technical skills to meet the demands of the professional market.
Program educational goals
The objectives of the Oil and Gas Engineering program are to prepare graduates who are able to:
1. Applying basic knowledge in engineering sciences and basic and applied knowledge in the field of oil and natural gas engineering, with a focus on the fields of drilling, storage and production.
2. Applying technology and science, with a focus on the initial and final stages of production.
3. To carry out the tasks entrusted to them as highly skilled engineers in the oil and natural gas industry at the local and international levels.
4. Rehabilitate themselves to become creative and innovative engineers regardless of their positions as leaders or team members in their workplaces and in society.
5. Improve their interpersonal skills in communication, oral and written communication, interdisciplinary teamwork, analytical and creative thinking, leadership and decision-making, taking into account professional ethics.
6. Work in the field of global oil and gas industries, and contribute effectively to the national development of society and the environment.
Qualifications of an Oil and Gas Engineering graduate
After successfully completing the Bachelor's program in Oil and Gas Engineering, the graduate will be able to:
1. Apply knowledge acquired in mathematics, science, fundamentals of engineering, principles of oil and gas engineering, and contemporary issues in addressing oil and gas engineering problems.
2. Design oil and gas systems, components, or processes to meet specific needs with due attention to health and safety risks, applicable standards, and economic, environmental, cultural, and societal considerations.
3. Conducting oil and gas engineering experiments to study various oil and gas engineering systems as well as using computers to analyze and interpret data.
4. Identify, formulate and solve problems related to oil and gas engineering.
5. Work effectively in team meetings and discussions and take responsibility either individually, as a member or as a team leader.
6. Communicate effectively on complex oil and gas engineering activities through written and oral means.
