In the interest of the Emirates International University to provide training and practical application for its students and to provide them with practical experience, the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the university, in partnership with the Data Bank of the Petroleum Exploration and Production Authority, implemented a training course for students of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering, level four, on computer applications used in petroleum operations, petroleum and geopetro sciences. . The course lasts for 5 days. For the purpose of continuous follow-up by the university of the training process, the head of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department, Dr. Ibrahim Ali Farea, Media Officer and Student Activities Officer at the University, visited the trainee students at the Data Bank Development Project. The Data Bank of the Oil Exploration and Production Organization is the first entity that possesses an integrated information base on the petroleum industry, in which all geological information, seismic surveys, production information, oil reservoirs and drilling wells are available, which provides an opportunity for students to achieve great benefit in this field.
