In an academic scene reflecting the growing scientific movement and increasing interest in issues of institutional and administrative development, the Emirates International University witnessed the discussion of a high-quality master's thesis proposal entitled: “The Role of Strategic Innovation in Improving Organizational Performance – A Field Study on a Sample of Pharmaceutical Companies in Sana'a.” The thesis was submitted as part of the requirements for obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree from the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
The study was presented by researcher Ahmed Fadhl Awass, under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Sarhan Al-Kahali, Associate Professor of Business Administration at the International University. This aligns with an academic approach that keeps pace with modern transformations in the business environment and focuses on producing applied scientific research related to the needs of the local market and current economic challenges.
The discussion committee comprised a distinguished academic panel, including Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, Vice President of the University; Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi, Dean of Graduate Studies; Dr. Jabr Al-Sunbani, Head of the Business Administration Department; Dr. Fahmi Al-Daqqafi, Head of the Accounting and Finance and Banking Departments at the College of Administrative Sciences; Dr. Mohammed Al-Rahbi, Academic Advisor; and Professor Dr. Abdo Al-Amri, External Examiner. This panel clearly underscored the high academic standards the university is committed to providing in its graduate programs.
The study addressed the importance of organizational performance as one of the most prominent modern indicators of an organization's success in achieving its strategic objectives, particularly within a rapidly changing and highly competitive global environment.
