Student Affairs Council Holds Fifth Meeting for the Academic Year 1447 AH to Enhance Student Services

As part of its ongoing commitment to developing the educational environment and enhancing the quality of university life, the Student Affairs Council at the Emirates International University held its fifth meeting for the academic year 1447 AH (2025-2026 CE) on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, Vice President of the University and Chairman of the Council, and attended by deans of colleges and representatives of departments concerned with student affairs.
This meeting is part of a series of periodic meetings held by the university to enhance the efficiency of institutional work and continuously monitor student needs. This contributes to building a comprehensive university experience that combines academic excellence with effective student support in a modern and stimulating learning environment conducive to creativity and success.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani emphasized that the university views the student as the focus and cornerstone of the educational process. He pointed out that true development begins with enhancing the quality of services provided to students, listening to their aspirations, and working to provide a university environment that inspires them and helps them achieve their academic and professional ambitions. He also emphasized the importance of integration among the various colleges and departments to achieve the highest levels of efficiency in performance and student services.
During the meeting, the council discussed several topics related to developing the academic advising system, improving communication mechanisms with students, and activating high-quality student activities and programs that contribute to developing their skills and enhancing their academic and community engagement. The council also reviewed the level of compliance with regulations and systems governing student affairs and examined several development proposals aimed at increasing student satisfaction and improving the quality of services provided.
The council also reviewed several reports related to the progress of work in student departments, discussed the most prominent challenges and needs, and adopted a number of decisions and recommendations that will enhance performance efficiency and develop services, in line with the university's vision of preparing qualified graduates who possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to compete and contribute effectively to serving the community and development.
The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of continuous follow-up on the implementation of the council's recommendations and decisions.
