In a display of strategic planning and renewed ambition, the leadership of the Emirates International University held a comprehensive meeting this morning, Thursday, chaired by the University President, Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah, with the faculty of the College of Engineering. The meeting focused on discussing marketing plans for admissions and registration for the academic year 1448 AH (2026-2027 CE) and the college's role in contributing to marketing efforts. This initiative is part of the university's ongoing commitment to providing an exceptional educational and marketing experience that meets students' aspirations and fulfills their ambitions.

 

The University President opened the meeting with an inspiring speech that conveyed a clear leadership vision. He emphasized that the admissions and registration process is not merely an administrative procedure, but rather the "gateway to dreams" through which students pass towards their professional and personal futures. He emphasized the importance of providing a comprehensive marketing experience based on creativity, addressing students' passions and interests, and highlighting the true value of the specialized programs offered by the university, as well as the role of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, which represents one of the pillars of academic and technological excellence at the university.

 

He pointed out that competition in the higher education sector requires a marketing message that is both intelligent and humane, showcasing the university's identity as an environment that fosters creativity and innovation, and reflecting the quality of its educational outcomes. He called for unified efforts among colleges and departments to achieve a strong and impactful presence during the admissions and registration season.

 

During the meeting, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, along with the department heads, reviewed a package of initiatives and development procedures aimed at improving the student experience from the moment they express interest in registration until their full integration into university life. These efforts included developing digital marketing content, activating interactive campaigns across social media platforms, highlighting student success stories, and organizing high-quality introductory events that introduce modern specializations such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and mechatronics engineering, thereby enhancing the college's appeal and solidifying its position as the first choice for ambitious students. The attendees also discussed mechanisms for integrating marketing efforts with academic and administrative procedures to ensure a smooth and exceptional experience for new students, from the initial inquiry through registration to integration into a stimulating and comprehensive learning environment.

 

On the sidelines of the meeting, reports on the progress of the educational and examination processes for the second semester at the college were reviewed. The indicators showed a high level of academic discipline and performance quality. Several topics related to developing academic programs, enhancing the educational infrastructure, and improving student services to meet modern standards in university education were also discussed.

 

The college's ongoing modernization plans were also addressed. The meeting was attended by the Vice President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani, the Secretary General, Engineer Mohammed Abbas, the Dean of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, as well as the deans, department heads, and staff of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, and several other relevant officials.

 

 At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees emphasized the importance of teamwork and transforming plans into impactful, practical initiatives that enhance the university's presence in the educational landscape, attract outstanding students, and solidify the position of Emirates International University as a leading educational destination that combines quality, innovation, and a humanitarian mission.
