In a scene that embodies the convergence of science and humanitarian responsibility, a group of students from the Management Information Systems Department at the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences created a unique graduation project entitled "Your Blood is Life," presenting an inspiring model of how technology can become a bridge to saving lives.

The project, prepared by students Yasmin Saeed Al-Jaradi, Hanan Fawzi Thabet, Norman Waleed Rajih, Maryam Fawaz Al-Kumaim, and Amal Abdul Rahman Hajar, under the supervision of Dr. Hisham Aqlan, involves developing an integrated web platform dedicated to managing and organizing blood donation operations in the capital, Sana'a, through a unified digital system that efficiently connects hospitals, blood banks, and beneficiaries.

The project stems from a real and urgent need to overcome the challenges posed by traditional paper-based methods, which often lead to delayed responses in emergencies and data loss. Through the "Your Blood Saves Lives" platform, beneficiaries can easily locate blood donation centers, track prices, and book and request blood units electronically. The platform also allows hospitals and blood banks to manage their inventory and update donor data and test results in real time.

The system features instant notifications when requests become available or are accepted, enhancing response times and seamless communication between different parties. This directly contributes to saving patients' lives and improving the efficiency of healthcare services.

The team developed the project using an Agile methodology to ensure flexibility and speed of completion. They utilized cutting-edge software technologies such as Laravel, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS within a modern development environment that reflects the high level of technical expertise possessed by the university students.

The comprehensive feasibility study of the project—covering its technical, economic, operational, social, legal, and time-related aspects—strongly indicated its potential for success. The project contributes to reducing administrative costs, improving the quality of healthcare services, and promoting a culture of blood donation within the community.

This project is a living embodiment of the pioneering role of the Emirates International University in providing modern education that meets the demands of the times, by empowering its students to produce innovative digital solutions that address the needs of society and contribute to building a more conscious and sustainable future.

"Your Blood is Life"... not just a graduation project, but a vibrant humanitarian message, written by university students in the language of technology... to save a life.
