The College of Engineering and Information Technology, in cooperation with the Dhahban Industrial Technical Institute, launched a practical training program for first- and third-year mechatronics engineering students. The program is supervised by a select group of instructors from the institute and specialized university staff.
The first-year program includes workshops in carpentry, welding, turning, milling, filing, and drilling. Third-year students focus their training on modern manufacturing methods and hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including single- and double-acting valves and their various circuits, as well as pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems.
Students were divided into small groups to ensure high-quality training, with each student receiving 24 hours of intensive, hands-on training to enhance practical skills and provide a comprehensive learning experience.
This program reflects the college's commitment to developing students' practical skills, equipping them with the experience and expertise necessary to confidently enter the job market. #EmiratesInternationalUniversity
