In a practical demonstration of its community and developmental role, Emirates International University participated this morning, Tuesday, in a clean-up campaign launched by the Capital Municipality. The campaign targeted neighborhoods in the Al-Sabeen district, with broad participation from universities, companies, and commercial institutions located in the area. University members contributed actively to the campaign, reflecting their environmental awareness and commitment to serving the community.

 

The clean-up campaign, in which the university participated, targeted the Hadda City roundabout and Faj Attan area. It witnessed significant engagement from participants, along with active participation from the Capital Municipality leadership and the Sanitation Fund. This contributed to enhancing coordination and field implementation, and achieving the campaign's goals of improving the environmental landscape and maintaining public cleanliness.

 

Emirates International University's participation stems from its deep belief in social responsibility, which it undertakes alongside its academic and educational role. The university is committed to instilling the values of volunteer work and positive initiative among its members, thereby strengthening their awareness of the importance of preserving the environment and public facilities. The campaign organizers emphasized that this initiative embodies a successful model of integration between official bodies, educational institutions, and the private sector. It contributes to spreading a culture of public cleanliness and strengthening community partnerships aimed at improving the environmental and urban landscape of the capital.

At the conclusion of the campaign, the university was honored with a certificate of appreciation from the Capital Governorate for its role in the campaign's success.
