In a humanitarian step reflecting its commitment to the well-being of its members and enhancing their quality of life, Emirates International University signed a cooperation and partnership agreement today, Monday, December 15, 2025, with the Experts and Consultants for Development Foundation. The agreement aims to provide discounted Takaful health and treatment insurance for university members and any other members who wish to benefit from the health services.

The agreement was signed by Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah, President of the University, representing Emirates International University, and Dr. Khaled Abdo Saad Al-Sultan, President of the Experts and Consultants Foundation. Also present were Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Dean of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, and several other officials from both sides.

During the signing, Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah, President of the University, affirmed that the partnership agreement stems from the university's commitment to the well-being of its members and the provision of a stable and healthy learning environment. He noted that this step reflects the university's dedication to enhancing quality of life and solidifying its social responsibility through impactful partnerships that directly benefit students and staff.

This collaboration aims to empower university members by providing them with comprehensive healthcare and treatment services through an integrated medical network contracted by the organization. This network comprises over 100 medical facilities, including hospitals, medical centers, laboratories, radiology centers, and consulting clinics, in addition to the organization's seven branches in the capital city, which are responsible for distributing medications and monitoring treatment services.

Under the agreement, the Experts and Consultants Foundation will issue health insurance cards to subscribers, covering the cardholder and five family members for a full year. The foundation will also provide updated lists of contracted medical providers and offer continuous monitoring of medical and pharmaceutical services and treatment camps through its online platforms. Subscribers also benefit from discounts ranging from 20% to 50% on various medical services.

The Emirates International University affirms that this partnership aligns with its strategic direction to expand its range of high-quality services and solidify its commitment to social responsibility, positively impacting its students, staff, and all its members.
