Academic Exploration Trip: Al-Yaqza Private Schools Students Experience Excellence at Emirates International University

As part of its commitment to building bridges with public school students and introducing them to the horizons of university education, Emirates International University today welcomed high school students from Al-Yaqza Private Schools for an academic visit. The visit aimed to familiarize them with the university's academic environment, its specialized programs, and the educational opportunities it offers to shape the future.
The students were received by the university's Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, who welcomed them and emphasized that Emirates International University places the student at the heart of its educational mission and strives to build a conscious generation equipped with knowledge, skills, and the ability to compete in the job market.
Professor Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, also delivered an introductory and guidance speech, reviewing the university's colleges and their diverse specializations. He highlighted the academic and training advantages that distinguish the university's programs and its role in preparing students for promising career paths. Several heads of academic departments were also present.
The students then embarked on a field trip through the university campus, visiting the laboratories of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. They toured the anatomy lab, specialized labs, and skills lab, gaining a scientific experience that enhanced their understanding of the nature of medical studies and the advanced practical training methods employed at the university.
The visit also included the Faculty of Dentistry, where the students learned about the teaching clinics and modern laboratories, and the integration of theoretical and practical aspects, which contributes to preparing qualified students according to advanced academic and professional standards.
The tour continued with a visit to the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, where the students explored the advanced engineering and technical laboratories and received a comprehensive explanation of the engineering and information technology specializations and the future opportunities they offer in light of rapid technological advancements.
At the end of the visit, the students from Al-Yaqza Private Schools expressed their admiration for the modern facilities and stimulating learning environment they witnessed. They affirmed that the visit broadened their understanding of university options and helped them formulate their future academic and professional aspirations.
The students were accompanied during the visit by Public Relations Officer Mr. Osama Nour El-Din, Ms. Fanoun Al-Omari, Ms. Sahar Al-Kahlani, and several members of the university staff and Al-Yaqza Private Schools. The day was filled with knowledge and inspiration, embodying the Emirates International University's mission to nurture students' ambitions and empower them to confidently shape their futures.
