A Journey Towards the Future: Watani School Students Discover Horizons of Excellence at Emirates International University

On a morning bright with passion and ambition, high school students from Watani Private Schools took their first steps into the world of university with an exceptional visit to Emirates International University. The visit, imbued with scientific curiosity, opened wide windows onto a future that awaits those who dare to dream.
The university's Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanish, warmly welcomed the students, emphasizing that the university is not merely buildings and laboratories, but an environment that shapes individuals and equips them with the tools for leadership and excellence. Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali, Dean of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, then delivered a guiding speech, illuminating the path for the students. He presented an inspiring overview of the university's colleges and specializations, highlighting the unique academic and professional opportunities each program offers, confidently shaping the future. Dr. Fahmi Al-Daqaf, Head of the Accounting and Financial and Banking Sciences Departments, was also present.
The 80 students then embarked on an enriching educational tour, beginning with the laboratories of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. From the anatomy lab, which offered them a unique visual and scientific experience, through the specialized labs, to the skills lab, where they witnessed the precision and professionalism upon which medical competence at the university is built.
The students then proceeded to the College of Dentistry building, where they toured the teaching clinics and modern laboratories and learned about the practical training mechanism, which is one of the most important pillars of excellence for dental students at the university.
The trip continued with a visit to the College of Engineering and Information Technology, where they were received by the Dean, Dr. Ibrahim Fara’a, the Head of the Department of Architecture and Interior Design, Dr. Ahmed Yafa’a, and the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Amri. The students were impressed by the college’s advanced laboratories and state-of-the-art equipment, and listened to a specialized explanation that gave them a clear picture of the world of engineering and technology and the endless opportunities it holds.
At the end of the visit, the students affirmed that this experience was not just a tour, but a window into a future greater than they expected, and a platform to discover new academic paths that could change their lives.
The students were accompanied during the visit by a national school staff and student supervisors, in a day filled with knowledge and inspiration, reaffirming the Emirates International University's mission to nurture the aspirations of the next generation of tomorrow's leaders.
