Amidst a solemn atmosphere brimming with loyalty and gratitude, the Emirates International University inaugurated its photo and sculpture exhibition this morning, Sunday, Jumada al-Ula 25, 1447 AH (November 16, 2025), as part of the commemoration of the martyr's day for the year 1447 AH. The exhibition serves as a visual and emotional space where the university evokes the spirit of heroism and reinforces the enduring presence of the martyrs.

The opening ceremony was attended by the University Secretary General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash; the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Saleh Al-Dhaheri; the Dean of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali; several heads of academic departments; Professor Abu Hussein Hamdan; the University's Activities and Mobilization Officer, Engineer Osama Hazam; and a number of academic and administrative staff.

The exhibition, organized by the Activities Department and the Mobilization Committee with broad participation from students across various disciplines, presented a distinguished collection of photographs and models depicting the heroism of the martyrs and the resilience of the Yemeni people. It recounted the epics of resistance against aggression and the blockade, and documented the sacrifices of leaders who were martyred on the path to Jerusalem during the Battle of Al-Aqsa.

The exhibition also featured models representing the contributions of multiple generations in various fields, particularly those related to the sacrifices of the martyrs and military industries. This artistic message embodied the connection between the past and the present, illuminating the path to the future.

In his opening remarks, the University Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, emphasized that this event was not merely an art exhibition, but a tribute to the sacrifices of the great, and a revival of the meaning of martyrdom, which is considered the pinnacle of giving for God and country.

He explained that the martyrs were and will remain the nation's safeguard, and that their legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of every free Yemeni. He noted that the university is committed to ensuring this legacy remains present in the minds of its students each year.

The exhibition will run for three days and is open to all members of the university community to view its contents during the specified period.
