They heard a detailed explanation from Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Chairman of the Electronic Marking Committee, and committee members about the special procedures followed during the electronic marking process for the final exams for the first semester in the Colleges of Engineering, Administrative Sciences, and Finance. This process begins with preparing student documents from the control database, proceeds to the marking process, matching answers with model answers, signing the results, and exporting them to the Student Affairs System.
For his part, the University President praised the role played by the committee, the central control committees, and the subcommittees. He emphasized the University's commitment to implementing the highest quality standards at all stages of the educational process. He noted that the electronic marking system reinforces the University's focus on e-learning and smart learning, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the educational process.
It is worth noting that the MCQ testing system measures students' memory, comprehension, and various skills. The use of the electronic marking system achieves transparency, fairness, accuracy, and complete confidentiality in the marking process, minimizes marking time, expedites the announcement of results, and facilitates student grievances.
