On Wednesday, Safar 26, 1446 AH (August 20, 2025 AD), the Emirates International University organized a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people under the slogan "With Gaza, Jihad and Steadfastness to Confront the Most Heinous Genocide and the Most Evil Conspiracies."
The stand was led by Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, Vice President of the University, a number of college deans, academic and administrative staff, and a large crowd of students. The stand emphasized the continuation of the jihad to support Gaza and confront the conspiracies of the criminal Zionist enemies of the nation and their supporters.
Participants raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, and held banners denouncing the massacres and crimes of the Zionist enemy, affirming the Yemeni people's support for their brothers in Gaza and Palestine until victory is achieved and the criminal Zionists are defeated.
The participants' voices echoed with thunderous chants against the tyrants, the arrogant, and their tools, declaring their full readiness for jihad in the cause of God in support of Gaza and in defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the nation's sanctities, regardless of the complicity and failure of the cowardly, or the rumours circulated by the hypocrites, traitors, and agents.
They denounced the positions of some Arab and Islamic regimes complicit with and supporting the Zionist enemy, shirking their religious, humanitarian, and fraternal responsibilities to support our brothers in Gaza, who are being subjected to genocide and starvation.
A statement issued by the rally affirmed the continuation of the Yemeni people's weekly million-strong march in jihad for the sake of God, seeking His pleasure, and in continuation and steadfastness of our just and honorable position in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza, who are being subjected to the most heinous crimes of genocide and the most malicious conspiracies of this era by the Israeli enemy and its American partner.
The statement reiterated Yemen's firm and principled stance, which, God willing, will not waver or change, with Gaza, Palestine, and our holy sites, which are part of our religion and for which we sacrifice our lives and wealth. It also supports the resistance, which is making the most precious sacrifices in defense of the entire nation against the most heinous, horrific, and cruelest crimes of this era, perpetrated by the Zionist enemy and its American partner against the people of Gaza. It seeks to perpetrate these crimes against the entire nation, were it not for its preoccupation with those who continue to raise arms against it, while making no secret of its criminal intentions toward the rest of the world without exception. The statement clarified that, in the face of the brutality practiced by the Zionist enemy in Gaza, which has surpassed all imagination and whose horror has shocked the world, It has become an absolute necessity for us, for the entire Ummah and for humanity as a whole, to criminalize Zionism and work to disarm the Zionist enemy, given the danger it poses to the peoples of our region and to world peace as a whole. Its crimes represent a grave and utter disregard for human values and for the rights of this entire human generation, should it remain silent in the face of the atrocities taking place and fail to take a firm and serious practical stance against them.
At the same time, it called for strengthening the arms of the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon, which today stands as a stumbling block to the brutal, criminal, and satanic crime of genocide committed by this enemy. It confronts its expansionist tendencies, fueled by hatred and bloodshed, and prevents the spread of its current crimes to other countries and states. We consider this an urgent necessity that must be pursued by all.
The statement issued by the members of the Emirates International University emphasized that neglect and inaction in this regard will cost everyone a heavy price, inflicting immeasurable losses on the nation and humanity, and bringing about indelible shame and severe torment in this world and the hereafter.
It added, "We categorically reject the plan publicly announced by the Zionist war criminal Netanyahu, which reveals the ambitions of the global Zionist system to implement its project called 'Greater Israel,' which reveals the Zionists' quest to control a number of Arab countries, in whole or in part, including Mecca and Medina, the holiest sites in Islam."
The statement declared, "We stand against this malicious project with all that God has enabled us to do, given the grave and real danger it poses to our country, our nation, and our holy sites. In doing so, we put our trust in God, rely on Him, and are confident in His victory."
It called on the peoples of the nation to take the same stance, warning them that this plan, which is now being discussed officially, and is not merely a passing statement, Rather, it is a religious belief held by the enemy, one it works to implement day and night. The enemy's threats under the banner of "changing the Middle East" if it succeeds in eliminating the axis of jihad and resistance—God forbid—are a practical translation of this malicious project.
The statement emphasized that "the enemy's move to dictate to certain regimes to disarm the resistance, target it from within, and besiege it, whether in Gaza, Lebanon, or other arenas of jihad, is only one chapter in this malicious plan, which we categorically reject."
It expressed condemnation and rejection of any actions by any regimes, governments, or groups that serve the enemy's plan to target our peoples, our region, and our strengths. It denounced the continued support and services provided by some regimes to this criminal enemy, sending ships loaded with goods and weapons to it, and concluding economic deals with it.
He also condemned and denounced - at the same time - the submission to the enemy's encroachment and the inaction in the face of its threats against these subservient regimes, their countries, and their peoples. This behavior bewilders even sane minds and shames common sense.
