On Wednesday, Safar 5, 1446 AH (July 30, 2025 AD), the Emirates International University organized a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people under the slogan "We will not tolerate the genocide in Gaza and the violation of the nation and its sanctities."
The stand was led by Dr. Fouad Hanash, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, a number of college deans, heads of academic departments, academic and administrative staff, and a crowd of students. Participants chanted slogans denouncing the ongoing killing and starvation of our people in the Gaza Strip, amidst a humiliating Arab and Islamic betrayal. They held America and the Zionist entity responsible for the crimes of genocide and the use of starvation as a weapon of extermination against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The participants declared their support and blessing for all the escalatory options taken by the Leader of the Revolution to support the oppressed Palestinian people and compel the occupying entity to halt its aggression and lift its siege.
They called on the people of the nation to launch a major Islamic awakening in support of Gaza, to break the state of silence and abandonment, and to take action at various levels to deliver food and medicine to those under siege in the Gaza Strip.
Members of the Emirates International University praised the operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces against the Zionist enemy, calling for an escalation of qualitative operations deep within the Zionist entity.
A statement issued after the rally emphasized that, in response to God Almighty, and striving for His sake and seeking His pleasure, the people of the governorate took to the streets in support of justice and to stand up against the oppressors, America and Israel, who are committing the most heinous crimes of murder and starvation against the Palestinian people in full view of the world.
The statement read, "We came out this week with our hearts aching for our dear people in Gaza, who are being subjected to the worst crimes of murder, ravaged by systematic starvation, and besieged by foreign entities. We are saddened by the great distance between us and them, which exhausts our people with oppression and pain, because the subservient regimes that geographically separate us from Gaza prevent us from reaching them to support them."
He expressed regret for the silence and inaction of the Ummah as it sees a Muslim people, part of it and in its midst, being killed with the most lethal weapons of extermination, deprived of water and food, dying of hunger and thirst before the eyes of the entire world, while hundreds of millions of Arabs and Muslims surround them on all sides without lifting a finger.
He denounced the silence of the cowardly rulers of Arab regimes and held them responsible for encouraging the enemy to continue and persist in these crimes.
He welcomed the announcement by Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to study further options against the Zionist enemy, stressing readiness and preparedness for any consequences arising from any decisions to confront the enemy and alleviate the suffering of Gaza and its people.
The statement reiterated the Yemeni people's adherence and steadfastness to the official and popular position in support of Gaza and Palestine, as part of their faith and connection to their great Book and their noble Messenger, and in implementation of their directives to strive in His cause and be patient on this path.
