The University Participates in the Expanded Meeting of Student Activities Directors at Yemeni Public and Private Universities and Colleges

The Emirates International University, represented by its Director of Activities, Eng. Osama Hazam, participated in the expanded meeting of student activities directors at Yemeni public and private universities and colleges. The meeting was held under the patronage of the Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Professor Hassan Al-Saadi, under the slogan "You Are Not Alone."
The expanded meeting, attended by Professor Abdul Karim Al-Dahhak, Director of Activities at the Ministry, and Dr. Muhammad Daif Allah Al-Qatabri, Director of the National Institute, was also attended by directors of student activities at public and private universities and community colleges.
The presentation reviewed a report on the achievements of activities during the year 1446 AH, which included 35 diverse activities in the religious, cultural, scientific, artistic, and sports fields.
The meeting also discussed the activities plan for the year 1447 AH, which will carry the slogan "You Are Not Alone" in solidarity with the Palestinian people. The basic concepts, objectives, scope, and conditions for organizing student activities were also reviewed, in line with the values and identity of Yemeni society. Graduation ceremonies were also discussed, emphasizing the need to adhere to the ministerial instructions regulating them.
The meeting concluded with several recommendations, most notably an agreement to organize a specialized training course in the coming period targeting all student activities directors at Yemeni public and private universities and colleges. The aim is to enhance their competencies and enhance the performance of activities to keep pace with current challenges.
