University President Reviews Progress of Free Medical Services at College of Dentistry Clinics

As part of the UAE International University's leadership's commitment to enhancing the quality of community and health services, Dr. Khaled Salah, President of the University, accompanied by Secretary-General Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, and Dean of the College of Dentistry Dr. Ibrahim Al Shami, made an inspection visit to the College of Dentistry's free clinics. The visit focused on reviewing the progress of medical care provided to patients and ensuring the efficiency and quality of services provided.
During the visit, the University President and the Secretary-General listened to a detailed explanation from the medical staff and interns about the procedures for receiving patients, the diagnostic and therapeutic services provided, and the most important procedures followed to ensure the provision of humane and safe healthcare, in accordance with scientific and professional standards.
The University President praised the disciplined performance and dedication of the academic and student staff to patient service, emphasizing that the free clinics represent an aspect of the university's social responsibility. They also represent an important practical platform that contributes to honing students' skills and connecting them to the realities of the profession in a realistic environment and with direct practical training.
For his part, Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shami, welcomed the visit of the University President and Secretary-General, explaining that the free clinics receive dozens of cases daily and provide diagnostic and therapeutic services in the fields of fillings, extractions, gum treatment, and dental implants, under the supervision of a select group of specialized academics.
He explained that these clinics are among the most prominent outcomes of the college, given their dual role of serving the community and practically training students within an integrated educational environment that combines skill and humanity.
It is worth noting that the free clinics at the College of Dentistry at the Emirates International University enjoy great confidence among citizens and continue to fulfill their mission of alleviating the suffering of patients and preparing a distinguished generation of academically and professionally qualified dentists.
