This morning, Wednesday, Dhu al-Hijjah 22, 1446 AH, the Emirates International University held a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people under the slogan "We will continue to support Gaza and the holy sites, regardless of the challenges." This stand affirmed the continued support for the Palestinian people.
Participants in the stand expressed their strong condemnation and denunciation of the brutal massacres and heinous crimes that the Zionist enemy continues to commit against civilians in the Gaza Strip, which have claimed the lives of thousands of martyrs and wounded, including women, children, and the elderly.
The participants reiterated their steadfast and supportive stance towards the valiant Palestinian resistance and their full support for the oppressed Palestinian people in the face of the Zionist machine of aggression and destruction.
They reaffirmed their firm and principled position in support of the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance, which embodies the highest values of steadfastness and sacrifice in the face of the brutal Zionist aggression. They affirmed their complete readiness to engage in all options adopted by the revolutionary and political leadership, and that they stand shoulder to shoulder with the free people of the nation until victory is achieved and the occupation is ended.
The participants declared their full support and absolute mandate for the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to make whatever decisions and options he deems appropriate to support the oppressed Palestinian people.
They condemned the treacherous Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which constitutes a flagrant violation of Iranian sovereignty.
They denounced the continued silence of Arab and Islamic regimes regarding the genocide and stifling siege being perpetrated against our brothers in Gaza, which embodies the ugliest forms of criminality and disregard for humanitarian principles and international conventions.
They emphasized that this silence is unbecoming of free peoples and does not reflect the spirit of Islamic brotherhood. They called for urgent and responsible Arab and Islamic action that rises to the level of the humanitarian catastrophe and embodies the minimum level of solidarity with a people being exterminated, besieged, and killed in cold blood in full view of the entire world.
A statement issued by the vigil indicated that the dire humanitarian conditions in Gaza, coupled with the ongoing Zionist massacres, make it more imperative than ever for everyone to continue supporting our brothers and sisters in Gaza—the people and the resistance—and to confront the famine-engineering practices of the Zionist and American enemies. They also must expose the malicious criminal scheme to cover up the crimes of starvation through so-called criminal American companies whose mission is to kill by starvation, not to distribute aid. They affirmed that the Yemeni people will continue to stand with Gaza, its people, and its resistance, and will not leave them alone.
They strongly condemned the brutal, criminal Zionist aggression against the sisterly Islamic Republic of Iran, affirming their support for the Iranian people and their wise leadership and their confidence in their ability not only to persevere but also to teach the Zionist enemy the harshest lessons.
He expressed his condolences to the brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran, both leadership and people, for the martyrdom of a group of heroic, mujahid military leaders and a group of enlightened, mujahid scholars who dedicated their lives to defending their country, their nation, and the sanctities of Muslims in Palestine, and to confronting the forces of arrogance and tyranny.
The statement called on the people of the nation to be wary of the inevitable, imminent divine punishment for all those who act excessively and negligently. The prolonged aggression, the continued silence and inaction, the growing habit of witnessing atrocities, crimes, and the starvation of people in Gaza, and the continued Zionist violation and desecration of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, all make it imperative for everyone to fulfill their duty of support. This places the highest degree of responsibility on everyone, and brings those who act excessively closer to the punishment that God has promised to those lying in wait and negligent who refuse to mobilize in the cause of God.
He expressed his thanks and praise to God Almighty for His guidance and success in our armed forces' recent strikes, as well as His success in continuing the successful naval blockade of the enemy and achieving great results in the air blockade as well. He called for further efforts to develop capabilities and escalate operations.
The statement addressed the Arab and Islamic regimes that continue to send ships to the Zionist enemy, saying, "Aren't you ashamed when you see activists from all over the world trying to break the blockade on Gaza, even if symbolically, while you yourself are simultaneously breaking the blockade on the Zionist enemy continuously, with ships that do not stop, in an attempt to mitigate the effects of the blockade we are imposing on it?"
He added, "If you do not fear God and His punishment, then at least be ashamed of the curse of history and the blackening of faces in this world before the hereafter. And God is the source of help."
