In light of the university's development and excellence in the educational process and its outcomes, and within an academic environment that encourages innovation and supports student potential, students in the Department of Information Technology discussed a pioneering graduation project today, Thursday, entitled the "Msaed" platform. The platform is an innovative digital platform that aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise at the local and regional levels, using modern technologies within a safe and effective electronic environment.
The project discussion was attended by University President Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, Secretary General Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, Dean of the College of Engineering Dr. Ibrahim Farea, several heads of academic departments, department and college staff, and the discussion committee. The University President praised the project's concept and the quality of its implementation, emphasizing that "Msaed" embodies modern trends in university education, which are not limited to the theoretical aspect, but extend to empowering students to produce tangible technical solutions that meet the needs of society and keep pace with the requirements of digital transformation.
The project was presented by students Abdul Hamid Ghaleb Ahmed Salman, Bassem Abdo Mohammed Saeed Hedish, Salman Mohammed Abdullah Ahmed Al-Hajj, and Osama Mohammed Ahmed Al-Muhaya, under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Adnan Al-Mutawakel and Assistant Supervisor Engineer Anas Ayash.
This project underscores the university's excellence in nurturing creative ideas and transforming them into practical, implementable projects. This reflects the quality of education and training students receive and the university's commitment to providing an integrated learning environment that combines academic and practical aspects.
The "Msaed" platform seeks to address the challenges of accessing specialized expertise by providing reliable online advisory services, including online session booking, a user-based evaluation system, video call support to facilitate communication, and a secure and easy-to-use online payment gateway.
The students relied on the Agile methodology to develop the platform to ensure flexibility and periodic performance improvement. The project was implemented using modern technologies such as Nuxt.js and Laravel, reflecting the students' high programming proficiency, a result of their advanced academic training.
The team emphasizes that "Musaed" is not just a graduation project, but rather a practical model for a pioneering project that contributes to building an Arab knowledge society and embodies the university's vision of graduating qualified individuals capable of competing and innovating in the digital labor market.
