The University President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, and the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, were informed this morning, Sunday, about the progress of the electronic correction process for the final exams for the first semester of the academic year 1446 AH corresponding to 2024-2025 AD for the second levels and above, in the presence of the Chairman of the Higher Committee for Electronic Correction, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Dr. Ibrahim Fareh, the Dean of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Dr. Muhammad Al-Kahali, and Engineer Iyad Al-Haddad and Engineer Omar Haider, members of the committee.
They listened from Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, the Chairman of the Electronic Correction Committee, and the committee members to a detailed explanation of the special procedures followed during the electronic correction process for the final exams for the first semester in the Colleges of Engineering and Administrative and Financial Sciences, starting with the process of preparing student documents from the control database, up to the correction process, matching the answers with the model answer, signing the results, issuing them in their final form, and exporting them to the student affairs system.
For his part, the university president praised the role played by the committee, the central control committees and the subcommittees. Pointing out the university's keenness to apply the highest quality standards in all stages of the educational process. Noting that the electronic correction system enhances the university's orientations towards electronic and smart education and raises the efficiency and effectiveness of the educational process.
It is worth noting that the MCQ test system measures the ability to remember, understand and various skills of students. The use of the electronic correction system achieves transparency, justice, accuracy and complete confidentiality in the correction process, shortens the correction time to the maximum degree, speeds up the process of announcing the results and facilitates the grievance process for students.
