 In a new academic achievement and in an important step to enhance job opportunities for its graduates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and at the international level, the Department of Clinical Pharmacy (Doctor Pharmacist) at the Emirates International University has obtained official accreditation from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, and membership in the International Federation of Pharmacists (FIP).

 

 Accreditation in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties allows graduates of the department to practice the profession of clinical pharmacy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after passing the professional qualification exam. The university’s membership in the International Federation of Pharmacists (FIP) also provides a great opportunity for university graduates and students to benefit from the advantages that the Federation offers to students at the international level in universities that hold membership.

 

 In his statement in this regard, the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, stressed that this achievement is a testimony to the university’s commitment to providing distinguished education that complies with international standards and meets the needs of the local, regional and international labor market.”

 

 The university president pointed out that the accreditation of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties is a strong boost for graduates of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the Emirates International University, as it will allow them to work in various hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical companies, and various aspects of health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

 The university president also pointed out that membership in the International Federation of Pharmacists (FIP) will open new horizons for students to engage in scientific and practical experiences at the international level, such as participating in scientific conferences and seminars, joining the programs of the International Federation of Pharmacists, and obtaining job opportunities in international pharmaceutical companies.

 

 In this regard, the University Presidency and the General Secretariat extend their thanks to the team charged with following up on the preparation and submission of the requirements file for the Authority and the International Federation of Pharmacists, according to which the university’s graduates from the Department of Clinical Pharmacy were accredited to work in the Saudi and international labor market, and were granted a license to practice the profession. The university also congratulates all its graduate students and students on these academic achievements.
