The Emirates International University Council, during its meeting today, Thursday, headed by the university president, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, blessed the decision of the Board of Trustees to appoint Dr. Ahmed Abdul Karim Jaylan Al-Baadani as Vice President of the University. In a telegram submitted by the Council to His Excellency Mr. Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and to all members of the Council, the Council praised this step, which reinforces the strategic directions according to which the university is proceeding to make a qualitative leap in all academic and administrative fields, which keeps pace with the development and growth it is witnessing year after year, especially since Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani is one of the founders who kept pace with the university's development and growth in the previous stage through his work as the university's Secretary-General. The Council stressed that the appointment of Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani represents a qualitative addition to the university, which, since its establishment, has sought to attract the best cadres, whether academic or administrative, in order to achieve the vision of the University’s Board of Trustees, represented by its president, to reach the university ranks among the major universities, integrating with the infrastructure of laboratories, laboratories, the educational environment and modern curricula. Which is characterized by the UAE University and in line with the rapid developments in the various fields of science. In its telegram, the council indicated that the university operates according to an institutional work that depends on a single work team, and that all university employees, regardless of their academic and administrative positions, represent a homogeneous, cohesive and cooperative team and strive to achieve one goal, which is the continuation of the university's excellence and raising its status and advancing it in accordance with the values of sincerity, mastery, quality, creativity, initiative and perseverance. Dr. Ahmed Abdulkarim Jaylan Al-Baadani holds a PhD in International Marketing - with high distinction from Anadolu University, Turkey. He received a Master’s degree in Marketing - with distinction from the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences, and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and was the first in his class from the University of Science and Technology. Dr. Al-Baadani is a consultant on the management system for educational institutions ISO 21001:2018 Certified Management System for educational organizations Consultant - Arab Republic of Egypt Participated in many conferences, courses, and workshops in the fields of international marketing and leadership of educational institutions in Turkey - Malaysia - Egypt - Saudi Arabia - United Arab Emirates. And he held many administrative and academic positions in many higher education institutions outside and inside Yemen during the period between 2010-2020. He has many refereed scientific researches, the latest of which is a research entitled The Impact of the Corona Pandemic on Higher Education Institutions in the Republic of Yemen - European Journal of Educational Studies The Impact of Coronavirus on Higher Education Institutes (HIEs) in Yemen - European Journal of Education Studies He also held the position of Assistant Secretary-General of the Emirates International University for the period between 2017-2018. Prior to his appointment as Vice President of the University, he held the position of Secretary General of the Emirates International University between 2018-2020.
