Promising Architectural Visions and High-Quality Outputs: Graduation Project Discussions Conclude in the Department of Architectural Engineering

The Emirates International University concluded today the graduation project discussions for students of the Department of Architectural Engineering for the academic year 2025-2026. The discussions, held over several days, were filled with presentations and scholarly debates that reflected the advanced academic qualifications and creative abilities of the students, clearly embodying the university's vision of preparing architects capable of actively contributing to development and shaping the future.

 

The discussions took place in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Dr. Ibrahim Fara’a, the Head of the Department of Architectural Engineering, Dr. Ahmed Yafa’a, several department heads from the college, members of the academic and administrative staff, and the supervisory and discussion committee, which included Dr. Ahmed Yafa’a, Dr. Ashraf Al-Kabsi (project supervisor), Dr. Ali Al-Ghazali (internal examiner), and Dr. Abdulkarim Hamid Al-Din (external examiner).

 

 The discussion sessions featured a distinguished collection of projects, ranging from urban development and cultural initiatives to tourism, development, and service projects. Students in the second group presented innovative projects, including:

Arafat Al-Subaihi: Sana'a Metro; Baraa Al-Yajouri: World Panorama; Ghaydaa Abila: Art Museum; Abdulbari Al-Makhlafi: Qalansiyah Resort, Socotra Island; Tariq Mu'jam: Sustainable Residential City; Amjad Al-Samawi: Rehabilitation of Ras Issa Port; Abdulwadoud Al-Muhtar: Agricultural Development and Research Center in Zabid; Sumaya Al-Yafai: House of Arabic Novels; Alaa Al-Nassari: Interactive Museum; Amasi Al-Sarhi: Eve's World Center; Munia Al-Aqil: Sustainable University of Ibb; Sulaiman Nassar Dhamran: Revitalization of Dhofar City; Ayman Al-Mashmali: Exhibition and Conference Palace; Nasser Al-Hadhili: Sana'a Government Complex.

 

 The third group of students also presented high-quality projects that reflected advanced architectural visions and a focus on addressing community and development needs. These projects included:

Group Three: The discussion committee commended the high academic and technical standards of the submitted projects, praising the students' ability to utilize academic knowledge and professional skills to deliver innovative design solutions that consider aesthetic, functional, and environmental aspects, while also addressing the requirements of sustainable development and preserving cultural and architectural identity.

 

The Emirates International University affirms that graduation projects represent one of the most important academic milestones, reflecting the quality of the educational process and its outcomes.
