Emirates International University Enhances Readiness for the New Academic Year and Discusses Development and Academic Excellence Plans

As part of its ongoing efforts to elevate the educational process and enhance the quality of its academic output, the Emirates International University Council held its regular meeting today, Monday, chaired by the University President, Professor Khaled Ahmed Salah, and attended by the Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, the Secretary General, Engineer Mohammed Abbas, members of the University Council, and representatives from relevant departments and divisions.
At the beginning of the meeting, the University President welcomed the attendees, praising the efforts exerted by the various colleges, centers, and departments during the past academic year, and emphasizing that the coming phase represents an important milestone in the University's journey towards further excellence and leadership.
Professor Khaled Ahmed Salah stated: "The Emirates International University is entering a new academic year with a more ambitious vision and a firm commitment to providing a comprehensive educational experience that meets the aspirations of our students and keeps pace with the demands of the job market. Our responsibility today extends beyond providing academic education to creating a university environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and excellence, and to strengthening the University's position as a leading educational destination that attracts ambitious individuals and the future leaders." He added, "We are working as one team to ensure the readiness of all academic, administrative, and service aspects, thus achieving a strong start to the new academic year and providing our students with a high-quality educational experience that contributes to building their scientific and practical capabilities and enables them to compete and succeed."
During the meeting, the council discussed a number of topics related to the final preparations for welcoming students in their second year and above for the academic year 1448 AH (2026-2027 CE). The council reviewed the level of academic, administrative, and technical readiness, the mechanisms for implementing the academic calendar, and the approval of operational plans for the educational process during the first semester.
The council also reviewed the class schedules and the facilities related to the colleges and academic departments to ensure the smooth commencement of studies from the first day and to provide a stimulating learning environment that contributes to raising the students' academic achievement.
The meeting also addressed the student activities plan for the new academic year, which aims to develop students' skills, refine their talents, and enhance their participation in scientific, cultural, creative, and community programs, contributing to building a well-rounded university personality that combines academic excellence with professional distinction.
Regarding admissions and registration, the council discussed the marketing plan for attracting new students, mechanisms for enhancing the university's presence at various educational events and forums, and developing media and marketing messages that highlight the university's competitive advantages and diverse academic programs. This aims to expand the student base and attract more students seeking to build their academic and professional futures.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the council emphasized the importance of integrated efforts among all academic and administrative units to ensure the achievement of the university's goals and strategic plans, and to further solidify its position as a leading educational institution that contributes to preparing qualified professionals capable of driving change and actively participating in building society and development.
