In an academic setting reflecting the depth of the educational experience and the quality of its outcomes, the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences at Emirates International University – Sana'a witnessed the discussion of a unique graduation project by students from the Department of International Business Administration (English Section). The project, titled "The Role of Logistics in Enhancing Customer Satisfaction in E-commerce," is an applied study reflecting the realities and challenges of the Yemeni market.

The project, presented by a select group of students – Reem Maher, Bushra Saif, Rayan Al-Kumaim, Alia Al-Saafani, Bayan Al-Mansouri, and Sumaya Al-Harouji – and supervised by Dr. Jaber Al-Shami, affirms that education at Emirates International University is not limited to theory but extends to producing applied knowledge capable of making a real difference in the business environment.

The study employed a rigorous scientific methodology, addressing five key dimensions of logistics services: order fulfillment, inventory management, delivery speed, packaging quality, and returns management. It relied on field data collected from university students in Sana'a, comprising 105 valid responses analyzed using advanced statistical tools (SPSS).

The results revealed a crucial strategic insight, with delivery speed topping the list of factors most influential on customer satisfaction. This was followed by order fulfillment accuracy, and then the efficiency of returns and inventory management. Packaging quality, despite its high rating, did not register a significant impact, reflecting a deep research understanding of the nature of emerging markets and their actual needs.

The study went beyond mere analysis, offering practical recommendations for the e-commerce sector. These recommendations advocate for improving supply chain efficiency, expediting delivery processes, and simplifying returns procedures, thereby enhancing customer experience and boosting company competitiveness.

This project represents a prime example of outstanding educational outcomes, embodying the philosophy of the Emirates International University in preparing graduates capable of bridging the gap between academic knowledge and market demands, and creating innovative solutions that keep pace with rapid digital transformations.

At the Emirates International University, the future is not made by chance, but rather built with knowledge and measured by impact.
