In an academic setting reflecting profound administrative awareness and mature scholarly discourse, the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at Emirates International University witnessed today, Sunday, the discussion of a distinguished graduation project by students from the International Business Administration Department. The project, titled "The Role of Transformational Leadership in Achieving Institutional Excellence at Emirates International University," was undertaken as part of the requirements for obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

 

The project, prepared by students Rehab Abdullah Khashafa, Sundus Fath Al-Azraq, Marwa Jalal Al-Arifi, and Yasmin Hamid Al-Nahmi, was supervised by Associate Professor Dr. Jabr Abdul Qawi Al-Sunbani. It presents an advanced research perspective that responds to the transformations and rapidly evolving challenges of the modern educational environment.

 

 The discussion committee comprised a distinguished group of academic leaders, including Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali, Dean of the College; Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi, Head of the Department of International Business Administration; Professor Dr. Jabr Al-Sunbani, Head of the Department of Business Administration; and Dr. Amani Al-Safari, a faculty member. The committee enriched the discussion with insightful scholarly contributions that reflected the importance and relevance of the topic.

 

The project highlighted the major transformations facing higher education institutions, from globalization and rapid technological advancements to the evolving demands of the labor market. It emphasized that these challenges necessitate universities adopting modern leadership styles capable of achieving efficiency, innovation, and sustainability.

 

The research demonstrated that institutional excellence is no longer an option, but a strategic imperative achieved through the integration of effective leadership with academic and administrative staff, and the adoption of continuous improvement methodologies. This enhances the quality of educational outcomes and solidifies the competitive standing of academic institutions.

 

 The study highlighted the pivotal role of transformational leadership as one of the most important contemporary management approaches.
