In an academic scene brimming with creativity and ambition, the Emirates International University witnessed the presentation of final projects by third-year architecture students on Sunday. These projects, part of the "Urban Planning" course, were supervised by Dr. Ahmed Yafa'a, with the distinguished participation of assistant supervisor, Engineer Maha Atef.

Students from the department, working in 17 groups, presented integrated urban projects aimed at replanning the Al-Khanq neighborhood – Block 666 in the Jader Shamlan area. This practical experience reflected an advanced level of academic understanding and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to address real-world urban issues.

The presented projects ranged from modern planning visions that consider environmental sustainability, improve quality of life, and enhance infrastructure efficiency, to innovative solutions for organizing urban uses and developing public spaces, in line with the latest global trends in urban planning.

The projects demonstrated a remarkable level of professionalism in urban analysis, design, and detailed planning. Students presented planning models that reflect a deep understanding of local challenges and the ability to offer realistic and implementable solutions. This embodies the high quality of educational outcomes that Emirates International University (EIU) is committed to fostering.

This achievement aligns with the university's applied learning approach, which bridges academic knowledge with community needs and empowers students to be active contributors to urban development and the creation of a more sustainable and beautiful future.

These projects underscore that EIU students don't just study; they innovate, plan, and make a difference from their earliest days. This reflects the university's commitment to academic excellence and its vision of preparing engineering professionals capable of making a real impact on society.
