In a remarkable academic achievement reflecting a spirit of leadership and innovation, the UAE International University today witnessed the first graduation project presentations for the first cohort of students in the Artificial Intelligence department. This recently established specialization was designed to keep pace with the rapid global transformations in advanced technologies.

This exceptional presentation was attended by the University President, Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah, who was keen to participate in launching the first presentations for this promising department. This participation clearly underscores the University leadership's commitment to supporting future-oriented specializations and enhancing their high-quality outcomes.

The project, titled "OLIQ – An Academic Artificial Intelligence Agent for University Students," was presented by a distinguished student team comprising Ibrahim Al-Farran, Hussein Noman, Ahmed Masoud, Amr Jamil, and Yahya Al-Madwahi, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ahmed Sultan Al-Hajami, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department, and with the assistance of Engineer Noura Al-Hababi.

The project represents a qualitative leap in employing artificial intelligence to serve the university environment. It offers an integrated smart system designed to facilitate the student's academic journey by providing intelligent academic and administrative support through a central, interactive platform. The system addresses real challenges faced by students, such as difficulty accessing information, complex procedures, and a lack of personalized guidance, offering innovative solutions based on modern technologies like Django, Vue.js, and Firebase, in addition to artificial intelligence technologies.

During the discussion, University President Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah praised the project's outstanding quality, emphasizing that the launch of the first cohort of AI students' discussions marks a pivotal moment in the university's journey toward leadership in modern education. He noted that the project reflects a genuine awareness of students' needs and an ability to transform ideas into practical solutions.

For his part, Dean of the College of Engineering Dr. Ibrahim Fara'a expressed his pride in this achievement, affirming that the project represents a living example of high-quality, competitive educational outcomes and embodies the integration of the academic and applied aspects.

Dr. Ahmed Sultan Al-Hajami, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department, explained that this project reflects an advanced level of technical understanding and innovation among the students, and confirms the department's success in preparing qualified individuals capable of contributing to building a sophisticated digital future.

The discussion committee consisted of a distinguished group of academics, chaired by Professor Dr. Malik Al-Jabri, with Professor Dr. (…) and Professor Dr. Ahmed Sultan Al-Hajami as members.

This achievement confirms that the Emirates International University is confidently moving towards consolidating its position as a leading educational institution by adopting future-oriented specializations and graduating competent individuals capable of making a real impact on society, reflecting the quality of its education and the richness of its high-quality outcomes.
