In an academic display reflecting creativity and excellence, second-year architecture students in the "Architectural Design (3)" course presented advanced architectural models for a unique project: the design of a high school for gifted students. The school will have 36 classrooms, be fully equipped with facilities, and feature dedicated learning spaces that cater to the needs of talented students and foster an environment of creativity and innovation.

This project was supervised by Dr. Ali Al-Ghazali, with support from engineers Hanan Dahhan and Aya Thabet. The academic team guided the students in producing designs that combine architectural functionality with a strong connection to the local environment, reflecting the community's identity and responding to its educational and developmental needs.

The submitted projects were distinguished by being realistic and feasible models, developed according to modern international standards in educational building design. They showed a clear focus on the structural aspect and the integration of designs with approved construction systems, which enhances students' readiness for the job market and provides them with real-world practical experience that goes beyond theory.

The students also considered the concepts of sustainability and future expansion in their designs. The buildings were designed with flexibility to allow for expansion and development in line with future growth and the needs of educational institutions, reflecting an advanced design awareness among the students.

This project reaffirms the distinguished educational approach adopted by the Emirates International University, which is based on the integration of academic knowledge and practical application, preparing engineering professionals capable of innovation and competition in local and regional work environments.

The quality of these projects also reflects the excellence of the university's graduates, who are placed at the heart of the educational experience, and are provided with the necessary tools and skills to transform their ideas into real-world projects that contribute to building a sustainable urban future.

Through its academic programs and applied projects, the university continues to solidify its position as a leading educational institution, graduating a generation of innovative engineers capable of making a difference and driving development.
