The Ramadan Football League between the colleges of the Emirates International University reached its decisive and exciting stage today with the semi-final matches. These matches featured intense encounters between the qualifying teams, amidst a vibrant sporting atmosphere and a remarkable academic and student presence, reflecting the high level of engagement with the tournament.
In the first match, the Accounting team (Level 4) defeated the Cybersecurity team (Level 3) 3-2 in a penalty shootout. The match was characterized by excitement and close competition until the final minutes, with both teams delivering outstanding performances and a high level of competitiveness. Ultimately, the Accounting team secured their place in the final.
In the second match, the Business Administration team (Level 2) achieved a well-deserved victory over the Finance and Banking team (Level 3) 2-0 in a penalty shootout. Their organized performance and tactical discipline enabled them to secure the second spot in the final.
With these results, the Accounting (Level 4) team has secured a highly anticipated match against the Business Administration (Level 2) team in the Ramadan Football League final.
