University Council Holds its Regular February Meeting Chaired by University President Dr. Khaled Salah

The Council of the Emirates International University held its regular February 2026 meeting today, Thursday, chaired by the Council Chairman and University President, Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah. Also in attendance were the Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, the Secretary General, Engineer Mohammed Abbas, and council members including deans of colleges, the Dean of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, the Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and several department directors and heads of administrative sections within the university.
At the beginning of the meeting, the University President offered his congratulations on the occasion of the holy month and welcomed the council members. He commended the spirit of responsibility and teamwork that characterizes the performance of the academic and administrative leadership, emphasizing that the current phase requires redoubled efforts and enhanced integration among the various colleges and departments of the university to ensure the quality of academic outcomes and strengthen the university's position on the path to institutional excellence.
The Council discussed a number of topics on its agenda related to the progress of the educational process during the second semester of the academic year 1447 AH (2025-2026 CE), in addition to several academic and administrative matters, and development and modernization plans, in line with the university's aspirations for a renewed and stimulating learning environment.
The Council also reviewed performance reports and achievement indicators for the past period, and ways to enhance quality and academic accreditation, and improve the efficiency of administrative processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of educational services.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Council approved a number of decisions, procedures, and recommendations that will support the stability of the educational process and the continuation of development and modernization in various aspects of university work, thus strengthening the university's presence and academic leadership.
