The Third Meeting of the Academic Council at the Emirates International University for the Academic Year 1447 AH

The Academic Council of the Emirates International University held its third meeting for the academic year 1447 AH (2025-2026 CE) this morning, chaired by Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah, President of the University, and attended by the Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, the Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, and council members including deans of colleges and heads of academic units and departments.
The University President opened the meeting by emphasizing the importance of building upon the Council's decisions and continuing to work as a unified team to enhance the quality of the educational process and raise the level of academic and administrative performance, in line with students' aspirations and strengthening the university's position in its developmental path.
During the meeting, the Council discussed a number of topics on the agenda, most notably: following up on the implementation of the recommendations from the previous meeting, measuring performance indicators and achievement rates, reviewing reports on the progress of the final examinations for the second semester in the Colleges of Engineering and Administrative and Financial Sciences, and several other related topics.
The council issued several decisions and recommendations focused on establishing a culture of quality, enhancing academic discipline, and activating continuous performance monitoring to ensure the achievement of the university's strategic goals during the current academic year.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the university president commended the efforts of the colleges and their academic and administrative staff, emphasizing that the next phase requires greater integration and organized institutional work to continue the development process and solidify a modern academic model that reflects the university's vision and mission.
