Student Affairs Council Holds its Fourth Meeting for the Academic Year 1447 AH to Continue Developing Student Services

As part of the Emirates International University's efforts to enhance institutional performance and foster a stimulating and supportive university environment for students, the Student Affairs Council held its fourth meeting for the academic year 1447 AH (2025-2026 CE). The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, Vice President of the University and Chairman of the Council, and attended by deans of colleges and representatives of relevant departments.
This meeting is part of a series of periodic meetings held by the Council, underscoring the University's commitment to regularly addressing student issues and developing academic and administrative services to meet their aspirations and enhance their university experience.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, Vice President of the University, emphasized that the Council's periodic meetings reflect the University leadership's commitment to establishing a culture of continuous evaluation and improvement. He noted that the student remains the focus and foundation of the educational process, and that any genuine development begins with understanding their needs and responding to them effectively and responsibly. He also emphasized the importance of integrated efforts between colleges and departments to ensure the provision of high-quality student services that contribute to increased satisfaction and enhanced institutional belonging.
During the meeting, the council discussed several reports related to the progress of the advising process, the level of implementation of student activities, and adherence to regulations and systems governing student affairs. It also reviewed development proposals aimed at improving communication mechanisms with students and enhancing their participation in university activities and events.
The council also addressed several items on its agenda and made a number of decisions and recommendations that will elevate the level of student services and enhance the quality of university life, in line with the university's vision and mission to prepare qualified graduates capable of actively contributing to serving the community.
The meeting concluded with an emphasis on continued follow-up and implementation of the approved measures, which will strengthen the institutional development process and solidify the position of the Emirates International University as a leading educational environment characterized by modernity and excellence.
