The Deanship of Graduate Studies Discusses a Master's Thesis Proposal on Entrepreneurial Leadership and Enhancing Occupational Health and Safety Systems in the Solar Energy Sector

This morning, Sunday, the Deanship of Graduate Studies at the university discussed a scientific research proposal for a Master of Business Administration thesis entitled:

 

"The Impact of Entrepreneurial Leadership on Enhancing Occupational Health and Safety Systems." This is an applied field study on the solar energy sector in the Republic of Yemen, reflecting the university's commitment to supporting scientific research related to development issues and promising vital sectors.

 

The research proposal was presented by researcher Mohammed Abdulrahman Ahmed Yahya Al-Wali, under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali. The study aims to highlight the role of entrepreneurial leadership styles in improving the efficiency of occupational health and safety systems and promoting safe working environments, particularly in the solar energy sector, which is experiencing rapid expansion in the local market.

 

 The discussion session was attended by the University's Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, who emphasized in his remarks the importance of applied research grounded in the realities of Yemeni institutions and contributing to practical, scientifically sound solutions. He noted that the University prioritizes scientific research strategically, considering it a fundamental pillar in developing institutional performance and serving the community.

 

Also present was the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi, who commended the research topic and its scientific and professional dimensions. He affirmed the College's commitment to supporting studies that meet the demands of the labor market, serve productive sectors, and contribute to building administrative leaders aware of the concepts of safety and sustainability.

 

The research supervisor, Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali, explained that the study addresses a modern administrative topic due to its direct impact on strengthening occupational health and safety systems within institutions. He pointed out that the solar energy sector was chosen because of its growing importance and high sensitivity regarding workplace safety. He added that the research aims to provide scientific findings and practical recommendations that contribute to supporting administrative leaders, improving institutional performance, and establishing a culture of occupational safety based on modern scientific principles.

 

 The discussion was also attended by Dr. Fahmi Al-Daqaf, Head of the Accounting and Financial and Banking Sciences Departments; Dr. Jabr Al-Sunbani, Head of the Business Administration Department; Dr. Amal Al-Mujahid; Dr. Malik Al-Jabri; and several faculty members from the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences. Their insightful observations and methodological contributions enriched the session, enhancing the quality of the research and guiding it toward achieving its scientific and applied objectives.

 

At the conclusion of the discussion, the committee commended the effort invested in preparing the research plan and offered several scientific and methodological recommendations. These recommendations pave the way for its approval and the completion of the master's thesis, reflecting the university's commitment to elevating the level of scientific research and linking it to issues of development and institutional innovation.
