The Emirates International University witnessed today, Wednesday, in the Engineering College courtyard, the organization of its weekly rally under the title “A Pledge to the Martyr of the Quran: Our Mobilization Continues and Our Readiness is High.” The rally commemorated the martyrdom of the Quran martyr and founder of the blessed Quranic movement, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, may God be pleased with him, and reaffirmed the university’s unwavering and principled stance in support of the Palestinian people and the issues of the nation.
Participants from the university, led by the university president, Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah, raised banners condemning the ongoing Zionist aggression against Gaza and the West Bank, and the enemy’s grave violations of the ceasefire agreements, which exceeded 1,244 violations during the first phase, leaving thousands of martyrs, wounded, and detainees. They also condemned the continued siege, the obstruction of humanitarian aid, the targeting of residential areas, and the torture of Palestinian prisoners. A statement issued at the rally, read by Dr. Khaled Dhaifallah, affirmed that the Zionist aggression, with direct American support, is not limited to Palestine alone, but extends to targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran and its security and stability, within the framework of an open battle against the axis of Jihad, Jerusalem, and resistance, amidst a disturbing Arab and Islamic silence and inaction, despite the clear extent of the conspiracies targeting the entire region.
The statement renewed the pledge of loyalty to the path of the martyr of the Quran, may God be pleased with him, affirming the continuation of his path, adherence to the Quranic movement, and allegiance to its leadership, represented by Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, may God protect him. It reiterated to the people of Gaza that they are not alone, and that their cause will remain the central issue for the nation.
The statement also expressed the steadfastness of the Yemeni position in support of Gaza, the resistance in Lebanon, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, while emphasizing the continuation with greater momentum in public mobilization activities and raising the level of readiness and preparedness for the coming phase.
The statement called for deepening awareness of the Quranic project by absorbing the lectures and lessons of the martyr of the Quran, following the speeches of the leader of the Quranic movement, emphasizing the preservation of the movement's values and ethical principles, and raising generations on its spirit of faith and jihad.
The gathering concluded by affirming that the Quranic project represents a comprehensive civilizational, developmental, and unifying project, capable of saving the nation in light of the failure and decline of other projects, renewing confidence in God and praying for victory for Yemen and all the free people of the nation.
