The Emirates International University Participates Distinguishedly in the Launch of the Scientific Curriculum Competition Among Yemeni Universities

The scientific curriculum competition, organized by the Higher Education Sector of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, commenced this morning, Tuesday, with broad participation from Yemeni public and private universities. The Emirates International University is also participating actively and honorably, reflecting its ongoing commitment to supporting scientific excellence and motivating its students towards creativity and academic competition.
The Emirates International University is participating in this national scientific competition through two specialized fields: artificial intelligence and medical laboratories. Representing its students in these disciplines, the university underscores its leadership in modern and applied scientific fields that meet the demands of the labor market and contribute to serving the community.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Hatem Al-Duais, who delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of this competition in fostering a spirit of scientific competition among university students and developing their cognitive and research capabilities, thus contributing to raising the level of higher education in Yemen.
During the event, Professor Abdulkarim Al-Dahhak, Director General of Activities at the Ministry, spoke, outlining the competition's objectives, implementation mechanisms, and its role in discovering student talent and supporting academic excellence.
The competition is being held at the electronic testing center at Sana'a University. Following the opening ceremony, participants from various universities were distributed among the examination committees, marking the start of the scientific competition according to precise methodological standards.
The competition results are scheduled to be announced tomorrow, Wednesday, followed by an awards ceremony honoring the universities that won first place, in recognition of their efforts and the excellence of their students in the participating scientific fields.
It is worth noting that the students from the Emirates International University, who were joined at the event by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Ibrahim Fara'a, the Academic Coordinator of the Medical Laboratories Department, Dr. Safaa Darwish, and the Academic Coordinator of the Artificial Intelligence Department, Engineer Azza Al-Harthi, demonstrated an outstanding level of academic achievement during the qualifying exam for the competition. This reflects the high quality of their academic training and the university's strong commitment to developing their scientific and practical capabilities.
While wishing its participating students continued success, the university affirms its pride in their distinguished participation and its ongoing support for all that promotes excellence and leadership in various scientific fields.
