The administration of the Emirates International University held an expanded consultative meeting today, chaired by Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah, the University President, and attended by the Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, the Secretary General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, deans of colleges, heads of academic departments, and directors of relevant departments. This meeting reflects the university leadership's commitment to establishing an institutional approach and continuous consultation to enhance the educational and academic process.
The meeting discussed the progress of the educational and academic process in the various colleges and departments of the university. It reviewed the level of implementation of plans, academic discipline, and development and modernization procedures to meet the requirements of quality and academic accreditation, and to contribute to improving the outcomes of university education.
During the meeting, Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah, the University President, emphasized the importance of strengthening integration between academic and administrative aspects and working as a unified team. He stressed that the quality of education is a top priority for the university and requires continuous monitoring and periodic performance evaluation to achieve the university's vision and its educational and community mission.
The Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, also spoke, highlighting the importance of developing teaching and assessment methods, enhancing the efficiency of academic departments in monitoring the educational process, strengthening the role of faculty members in academic innovation, and keeping pace with scientific and technological advancements, which will positively impact students' academic performance and achievement.
For his part, the University Secretary General, Dr. Fouad Hanash, reviewed several organizational and administrative aspects related to the educational process, emphasizing the importance of integration between academic and administrative work, streamlining procedures, and developing administrative support mechanisms to contribute to providing a stimulating and stable learning environment.
The meeting also addressed several development proposals aimed at improving the quality of academic and administrative performance, enhancing communication between the various university units, and continuing efforts to establish a culture of quality and institutional excellence. This meeting is part of the regular meetings held by the university leadership, reaffirming its approach based on participatory planning and continuous follow-up, and its ongoing efforts to enhance the educational process and strengthen the position of the Emirates International University as a leading academic institution.
