The Emirates International University witnessed a massive rally today, Wednesday, in the Engineering College courtyard, under the slogan “Indeed, Your Lord is Ever Watchful.” The rally saw wide participation from the university’s academic and administrative staff, as well as a large number of students, who expressed their principled, faith-based, and patriotic stance on the issues facing the Arab nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause and the ongoing aggression it endures.

The participants expressed their unwavering rejection of all forms of Zionist aggression and hegemony, emphasizing that the occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people, along with the accompanying grave violations, siege, and starvation, constitute a humanitarian and moral crime that necessitates a clear stance from the free people of the Arab nation and a renewed awareness of the dangers the Zionist project poses to the present and future of the Arab nation.

The participants from the UAE University affirmed that this demonstration was a response to religious, humanitarian, and moral duty, embodying the responsibility of awareness in confronting normalization attempts and Zionist infiltration of the region. It also represented a rejection of schemes aimed at fragmenting nations and destabilizing their security and stability under false pretenses and misleading slogans.

The participants also expressed their full solidarity with the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance, emphasizing that the aggression, siege, and genocidal crimes they are subjected to necessitate a unified stance from the free people of the nation. They stressed that the battle against the enemies of the nation is a battle of awareness, will, and steadfastness before it is a battle of weapons.

During the demonstration, a statement was issued and read by Dr. Khaled Dhaifallah. The statement affirmed a number of positions and demands, beginning with the assertion that God's laws concerning tyrants and aggressors are immutable and unchanging, and that injustice, however long it may persist, is destined to perish, based on the divine promise of victory for the oppressed and retribution against the oppressors.

The statement highlighted the gravity of the Zionist enemy's declaration of recognition of the so-called "Somaliland" as a separate entity, considering it a new act of aggression within an expansionist scheme targeting the entire region. This reflects the Zionist entity's attempt to establish a foothold in the Horn of Africa, posing a direct threat to the security of Arab and Islamic states.

The statement affirmed that the Zionist crimes against the people of Gaza and the West Bank, and the ongoing attacks on Islamic holy sites, are inseparable from the context of the continuous aggression against several Arab countries, amidst international silence and official Arab and Islamic inaction that emboldens the enemy to persist in its arrogance.

The statement reiterated condolences to the families of the martyrs and the leaders of the Palestinian resistance, affirming that the blood of the martyrs will bear fruit in victory, and that God's promise of the demise of the Zionist entity and the triumph of Palestinian rights is inevitable.

The statement also emphasized full support for the Somali people and rejected any Zionist presence on their land, calling for a responsible Arab and Islamic stance to protect the sovereignty of independent states and prevent their violation, and affirming that the security of the nation is indivisible.

The statement concluded by emphasizing the continuation of public mobilization and adherence to the option of steadfastness and resilience, praying for a swift victory for the Palestinian people and their resistance, mercy for the martyrs, healing for the wounded, and freedom for the prisoners.
