In a move reflecting the university's institutional focus on developing medical education and enhancing field training, Emirates International University signed a training cooperation agreement with the Model Police Hospital on Wednesday. The agreement aims to train students from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences across various specialties, contributing to raising the level of academic and practical qualifications and aligning educational outcomes with the demands of the healthcare sector and community service.

 

The signing ceremony took place at the Model Police Hospital, where the agreement was signed by the university's president, Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah, and the hospital's Director General, Brigadier General Dr. Fouad Al-Madoumi, in the presence of several academic and medical leaders from both sides.

 

During the signing, University President Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah emphasized that this agreement represents a significant step forward in the university's efforts to enhance high-quality field training for its students. He noted that the university places paramount importance on practical application, considering it the cornerstone of preparing qualified medical professionals capable of meeting the demands of the healthcare sector and serving the community efficiently and responsibly.

 

 For his part, Brigadier General Dr. Fouad Al-Madoumi, Director General of the Model Police Hospital, expressed his welcome for the cooperation with the Emirates International University, emphasizing that the hospital places its expertise and medical capabilities at the service of the educational process. He stated that through this partnership, the hospital seeks to contribute to the qualification of medical students and provide them with practical experience according to the highest professional standards.

 

The agreement aims to provide structured field training opportunities for students of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences within the departments of the Model Police Hospital, according to approved training plans and specialized professional supervision. This ensures a suitable training environment that contributes to honing students' scientific and practical skills.

 

This agreement stems from a belief in the vital role played by medical education institutions and healthcare facilities in community development and raising the level of health and educational services. It also enhances the quality of medical education outcomes and contributes to meeting the needs of the health sector.

 The Director General of the Model Police Hospital, Brigadier General Dr. Fouad Al-Madoumi, accompanied the University President, Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah, on a tour of several hospital departments. During the tour, they reviewed the modern medical equipment, the level of services provided, and the workflow in the various departments, all within the framework of strengthening cooperation and integration between the two institutions.
