University President Meets with Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology to Review the Educational Process

As part of the university leadership's commitment to enhancing the quality of education and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, University President Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah met this morning with the faculty of the College of Engineering and Information Technology to review the progress of the educational process and discuss the most prominent challenges and development opportunities during the current phase.
During the meeting, which was also attended by the Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani, and the Dean of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, the University President emphasized the pivotal role of the College of Engineering and Information Technology in preparing qualified scientific personnel capable of meeting the demands of the labor market and the rapid advancements in the fields of engineering and technology. He stressed the need to strengthen the practical aspect of education and improve teaching methods to align with modern academic standards and achieve high-quality educational outcomes.
The university president commended the efforts of the college's academic and administrative staff, praising their scientific contributions and professional dedication, which strengthen the university's standing and academic competitiveness. He emphasized the university leadership's support for all initiatives that contribute to developing the educational and research environment.
Attending the meeting from the College of Engineering were the Dean, Dr. Ibrahim Fara'a; the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Dr. Hani Damaj; the Head of the Architectural Engineering and Interior Design Department, Dr. Ahmed Yafa'a; the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, Dr. Mohammed Al-Alfi; and the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Amri. Also present was the Director of Academic Affairs, Ms. Ibtisam Al-Mujmal. The meeting included extensive discussions on the current state of the educational process, mechanisms for improving academic performance, and ways to enhance integration between educational and administrative aspects to better serve students and elevate the quality of academic programs.
This meeting is part of a series of periodic meetings held by the university leadership with its various colleges, affirming the approach of direct communication, reinforcing the principle of institutional partnership, and striving to promote academic excellence and scientific leadership.
