Conclusion of the ECG course for human medical students at the Emirates International University

The Emirates International University's College of Medicine and Health Sciences, in coordination with the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, concluded a specialized training course in electrocardiography (ECG) for medical students. This course is part of the university's programs aimed at enhancing practical skills and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice.

The four-day course provided students with a comprehensive scientific program that combined the theoretical foundations for understanding the heart's electrical activity and mechanisms with practical application in reading and analyzing ECGs and managing common cardiac conditions.

The training content included an introduction to ECG principles, electrode placement, reading different wavelengths and intervals, and analyzing normal and abnormal patterns. Practical training also covered interpreting ECGs and relating them to common clinical cases, contributing to the development of early diagnosis skills and sound medical decision-making.

[University Media] This course comes as part of the Emirates International University's commitment to providing medical students with a solid scientific and professional foundation that meets the demands of the healthcare system and enhances their readiness to confidently transition to clinical practice and practice medicine with competence and responsibility.
