In a grand ceremony, the Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Professor Hassan Abdullah Al-Saadi, inaugurated the second level of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" courses in Sana'a on Saturday, Jumada al-Thani 15, 1447 AH (December 6, 2025), as part of the general mobilization of all members and students of the Emirates International University.
The courses aim to train and qualify approximately 3,200 participants from the Emirates International University with scientific, cognitive, and practical skills. They include cultural programs designed to instill jihadist concepts and a strong faith-based identity, enhance liberation awareness among university members, and train them in the use of various types of weapons.
During the inauguration ceremony, the Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Professor Hassan Al-Saadi, affirmed that the training and qualification courses stem from the religious and humanitarian responsibility embodied by the Yemeni people and their wise leadership in preparing and being ready to confront enemies and their conspiracies targeting Islam and Muslims, and to support the oppressed.
Minister Al-Saadi spoke about the developments in the Battle of Al-Aqsa, which reminds us of what transpired during the two years of the battle and revealed a part of world history in which the true nature of the calls and slogans raised—religious, moral, humanitarian, and civilizational values—became clear. The world witnessed who the truly free people are, those who genuinely embody the meaning of freedom, will, dignity, honor, and faith.
The Minister of Education affirmed that the Al-Aqsa flood battle exposed the true nature of those who deceived and exploited the people, profiting from their suffering and abusing the very civilization, freedom, and rights they have championed for years. It also exposed the Security Council, the United Nations, and the General Assembly, which were established to protect people and achieve justice, while reality confirms that they have presented a project that has contributed to the humiliation, weakening, and degradation of people, the exploitation of their resources, and the use of these institutions to oppress nations.
Minister Al-Saadi pointed to the international resolutions issued in favor of the Palestinians, which were thwarted by America's use of its veto power. He stressed the necessity of raising awareness, understanding the enemy, and being wary of the malice and hatred of the Jews, as well as comprehending the greatness of jihad and sacrifice in the path of God.
Reviewing the situations unfolding in Sudan, Libya, and the current events in Hadramawt and Al-Mahra, as well as in many other Arab and Islamic countries, he asserted that the external actor is the same, operating through internal proxies, with the aim of perpetuating conflict, dividing countries, seizing influence, power, and wealth, and serving foreign agendas.
He emphasized that the project supported by America and Israel cannot be a project of life or a project of good, regardless of the claims and justifications made about it. He explained that if those leaders and regimes that have normalized relations with Israel and are subservient to it possessed even an iota of goodness, they would not have allowed Palestine to be subjected to the most heinous crimes of brutality, killing, and starvation, unprecedented in history, all in full view of the world's governments and peoples.
Minister Al-Saadi praised the leadership and staff of the Emirates International University for their efforts in preparing and organizing these important training courses for the university's students, employees, and faculty. He noted the importance of these courses in raising readiness in various military and manufacturing fields and training in the use of different types of weapons and combat skills, in response to God Almighty's directives: "And prepare against them..."
For his part, Dr. Khaled Salah, President of the Emirates International University, affirmed that launching the second level of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" courses stems from a sense of religious and national responsibility and duty, and aims to strengthen the university's educational and cultural role in serving the issues of society and the nation.
He pointed out the university's commitment to developing the military and cultural capabilities of its members and strengthening their connection to the Holy Quran and the Prophetic methodology, in preparation for the promised battle of liberation and holy jihad. He explained that the courses provide participants with cultural and scientific programs, solidify their faith-based identity, raise awareness of the issues facing the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, and fortify them against cultural and intellectual warfare.
The university president emphasized the importance of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" courses in building a conscious generation capable of understanding the challenges facing the nation, and developing the physical skills and defensive capabilities of the participants, thus enhancing their readiness to confront these challenges.
The event, attended by Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Hatem Al-Duais, Chairman of the Academic Accreditation Council Dr. Adel Al-Matari, Executive Director of the Information Technology Center Dr. Fouad Hassan Abdul-Razzaq, Vice President of the University Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani, Secretary General Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, Dean of the University's Development and Quality Assurance Center Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, deans of faculties, university staff, and several presidents of private universities, included a report on the participation of university students and staff who graduated from the first level of the Al-Aqsa Flood courses, a performance by the Ansar Allah band, and two poems by poets Hamza Al-Maghribi and Waddah Al-Humaisi, expressing the level of Yemeni participation in the Al-Aqsa Flood courses in support of the resistance fighters in Gaza.
At the conclusion of the event, the Minister of Education and his deputy were presented with commemorative shields, as were members of the university's General Mobilization Committee.
