The University's Student Affairs Council Holds its Third Meeting for the Academic Year 1447 AH

As part of the Emirates International University's commitment to establishing an institutional approach based on continuous planning and the development of academic and student services, the Student Affairs Council held its third meeting for the academic year 1447 AH (2025-2026 CE) on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, Vice President of the University and Chairman of the Council, and attended by deans and representatives of relevant colleges and departments.
The meeting was an extension of the university's efforts to enhance student performance and monitor programs and services that contribute to building a distinguished university experience aligned with its vision and mission.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani emphasized that the Council's convening reflects the university's growing focus on students as the core and foundation of the educational process. He noted that the Council serves as an effective platform for addressing student needs, developing services provided to them, and ensuring a stimulating university environment that contributes to the development of their academic and personal capabilities. Emphasizing the importance of strengthening integration among the various departments and colleges to provide a comprehensive educational experience that reflects the university's vision and mission.
During the meeting, the council reviewed reports on student activities and services, plans for developing academic advising, and discussed several agenda items directly related to student affairs and needs.
The meeting concluded with a number of decisions and recommendations aimed at improving student services, enhancing the quality of university life, and supporting students' academic progress.
