In a scene reflecting appreciation and loyalty, the Emirates International University celebrated World Accounting Day on Tuesday, honoring a select group of its accounting staff in recognition of their vital role in establishing transparency and enhancing the efficiency of financial and administrative performance within the university.
The event was attended by the university president, Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah, who emphasized in his speech that accounting is not merely a numerical profession, but a mission based on trust, discipline, and responsibility. He commended the efforts of the accounting team and their continuous dedication to ensuring efficient financial and administrative performance.
The university's vice president, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, the secretary-general, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, and the dean of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences also delivered speeches expressing their pride in the university's accounting staff. They noted that this recognition comes in appreciation of their pivotal role in achieving financial discipline and supporting sound administrative decision-making.
During the event, Dr. Fahmi Al-Daqaf, Head of the Accounting Department at the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, and staff members from the financial departments were honored in a friendly atmosphere filled with appreciation and positivity, reflecting the strong team spirit within the university. They emphasized that financial and administrative success is the fruit of cooperation and integration among all its departments.
