UAEU Participates in Expanded Meeting of Student Activities Directors at Universities and Colleges

The Emirates International University, represented by the Activities Department, participated in the expanded meeting of student activities directors at universities and colleges. The meeting was organized by the Higher Education Sector of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research to evaluate the level of activities in the first semester and launch the second semester program.
During the meeting, Dr. Ibrahim Luqman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for the Higher Education Sector, highlighted the importance of student activities at universities and colleges in developing students' intellectual, scientific, and physical capabilities and encouraging them to be creative and innovative.
He emphasized the Ministry's commitment to supporting scientific, cultural, and sports activities, given their role in promoting ethical values among students and motivating them to be creative, engage in scientific research, self-learning, and acquire various knowledge and skills. He explained that societies can only advance through science, education, and scientific research.
In turn, the Director of Activities in the Higher Education Sector, Mr. Abdul Karim Al-Dahhak, emphasized that student activities are an integral part of the educational process. They foster a spirit of leadership and teamwork, contribute to building students' character, developing their life skills, and fostering cooperation between universities to prepare a generation capable of advancing the nation.
The university's Activities Officer, Engineer Osama Saleh Hazam, participated in the meeting.
