With the participation of the UAE University, the Fourth Poetry Competition and Festival for University and Community College Students concludes.

In the presence of the University's Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, the Higher Education Sector of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research concluded the Fourth Poetry Competition and Festival for students of public and private universities and community colleges. The competition was organized by the sector in cooperation with Azal University for Human Development under the slogan "You Are Not Alone." This year's competition coincided with the 62nd anniversary of the October 14 Revolution, held from October 21-23, 2025.
Approximately 70 poets from 26 public and private universities and colleges competed in the three-day competition, in both free and popular poetry. The competition was supervised by a jury composed of poets Al-Harith Al-Shamiri and Nabil Al-Adini.
The closing ceremony included honoring the first-place winners, as well as the host university and participating universities. The Secretary-General received a certificate of appreciation for the university. The university's activities department and the directors of student activities at public and private universities and community colleges were also honored. Participating students from the UAEU, including poets Yousef Al-Daylami and Yasser Abu Zar'ah, were also honored, along with participants from other universities.
